MAN CAUGHT FAKING HEART ATTACKS 20+ TIMES IN RESTAURANTS TO DODGE THE BILL
A man has been jailed after running the same bizarre scam over and over again—and getting away with it longer than anyone expected.
The Lithuanian diner would visit restaurants, order full meals, eat without raising suspicion… and then, right when the bill arrived, everything would change. He would suddenly collapse or claim a serious medical emergency.
In some cases, it escalated even further—ambulances were called to the scene, making the situation look completely real. Amid the chaos and concern, he would be taken away without paying.
Because each bill was relatively small, the incidents didn’t immediately raise alarms. Different restaurants, different days—it all seemed like isolated events.
Until it didn’t.
Once restaurant owners began comparing notes and sharing his photo, a clear pattern emerged. The same man. The same timing. The same carefully staged “emergency.”
The scam quickly unraveled.
Authorities eventually tracked him down, and after repeatedly refusing to pay the fines tied to his actions, he was sentenced to 42 days in prison.
What started as a series of small, calculated deceptions ended with real consequences—proving that even the smallest scams can catch up with you when the pattern becomes impossible to ignore.
