THE WOODS BEHIND HIS HOUSE (A TRUE SCARY STORY)


 T’ea was a beautiful young pregnant 19-year-old, that didn’t deserve the abuse she got from the hands of her boyfriend. She only told her family so much that she had going on in the relationship. She reach out to the ex-girlfriend about the abuse who felt T’ea should have done something sooner, but it was too late. 


T’ea Choates was excited to be a mom and have a future with the man she was planning to marry. She was looking forward to being happy with her unborn child's father. 


T’ea grandmother reported her missing after not hearing from you. The detectives started doing their job, interviewing everyone while collecting evidence. As they interviewed one neighbors, who said she saw him pulling a trash into the woods, but didn’t think anything of it after seeing the boyfriend talking to her grandmother the next day. I felt like the police still should have gone to that backyard to clear that up. 



In the first interview with him, he tried to play the innocent role, like he didn’t know where she went, but he knew all along. He later confessed to his own father that he had killed her. As they headed to the police station, the dad already had a lawyer on speed dial. Once he learned they were at his house, the talking and confession came out of both of them. He lead the detectives to the woods where he bury her body. T’ea was trying to fight back, which explained the stretch marks on his neck and arms. 


At first, he said she fell and bumped her head as he attempted to save her but there wasn’t any sign in the back of head to confirm that. He finally told them the truth: he strangled her to death which gave him a life sentence. T’ea deserved her chance at motherhood. She deserved to live, but her life was taken too soon.
